2nd post of the day....

Just wanted to share a project I was working on for Fathers Day using the Extreme Boy paper line from Junkitz and the Brooke Peek a Book from Creative Imaginations. This book has many possibilities. I also took a class from a LSS here in town where they used their teal and honeydew papers and the same book. Very cute. I will post pictures of that project later.

Each page has a pull out where you can hide journaling or extra photos. This mini book is a must have!

ETA: Yes, that is my baby in the first picture. It was the 4D ultrasound we had done last month. Love the grumpy face - it just means he has MY personality! :)

More new things....

coming to the store in the near future. I can't say anything yet, but look for some announcements in the next month or so. Very exciting. I've been working all day on new ideas. This includes kits. You're going to see a bunch of new things debuting in the Stash kits in the coming months.

No rules on this one, just submit your best summer layout, card, project etc. You can submit as many times as you want. Please list your supplies when uploading your projects though.

Winners will be announced in our Newsletter in July. Contest runs from now until July 6th at 5 p.m. PST. I will announce the winners the following week. We have two prizes to give away so you have two chances of winning.

You can either email your submissions to admin@yourscrapbookstash.com or upload them to the Special Gallery Album entitled 'Summer Page Contest' on the site. Just click on the Gallery tab at the top of the page. You will need to create an account to be able to upload your submissions.

Okay, here are some pictures from this weekend. My mom was busy making cards with her Petaloo products. If you haven't used these, you need too. Very easy, elegant cards in a snap. You can get really creative with them or just leave them plain with flowers.

If you haven't checked out Imagination Project yet, you need too. They have some different lines of papers. We're proud to carry their new 'office' inspired lines as well as their Playlist line. We just received a backorder or coasters from them. They make great embellishments for your pages or a cute mini album as seen on their blog a while ago. Coaster sizes are graduated and come with pre-punched holes.

June Cards

I started working on the cards for my June Birthdays, Anniverysaries etc. Here are a few of them..........

That pink and black polka dot purse is made by Petaloo. Very cute!! Its a magnetic card in the shape of a purse with a sheer ribbon handle. Dress it up using the flowers from Petaloo Pink Poodle line or anything else! I added a message inside with rubons by American Crafts (love their rubons!)

7 Gypsies Travel Journal

So, while the rest of my family will be on a 2 week cruise this September, I'll be home with a new baby. It was a family cruise, but as the days go by, fewer of us are actually going. My cousin and her two kids can no longer go either. (Yeah! I'm not the only one.) I did finish their travel journals for the 2 girls. Since they would be missing school, their parents thought it would be a good idea for them to write down eveything they learned about the Hawaiian Islands.



Here is the journal made from a 7 Gyspies book, handles and papers. I also used Technique Tuesday stamps throughout the book, American Crafts Rubons, Bazzill cardstock, Heidi Swapp bling and more!
