Rainy Day projects

Just a few rainy day projects to keep me inside during the 'storm'.

Made a quick card for my FIL in Florida with the US picture from yesterday.

And here is my Baby Shower invitation that my mom finished up a couple of weeks ago.

Flat Stanley is visiting my family this month. :)

My cousin Chloe sent Flat Stanley from NY to California to see how we live. My mom and I are taking Stanley everywhere with us. So far, he's been to my house and played with Rascal. We'll be taking him to the beach, Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm and everywhere else we can think of. Does anyone have any good ideas on where we can take Stanley?

The verdict is in.....

..its a boy. Had the big Ultrasound yesterday and both the US Tech and my doctor both said it was clear as day. I can kind of see it, but these US pics are so blurry you just never know. Trust the experts I guess.



So here he is! I'm off to scrap this....

Baby Albums

I've been working on some baby albums for a few people who've asked me. Just wanted to put a few of the pages up here before posting them on the website. For some reason, they are all scanning funny. Must be all of the bling I put on the pages!
I used all kinds of goodies on these. Papers by Autumn Leaves, Lil Davis Designs, Bazzill Cardstock, Bazzill Bling and Junkitz Shabby Chic.
Embellishments are a combination of Lil Davis Designs Chipboard letters, Heidi Swapp Chipboard flowers, patterned tape, journaling spots and Ribbon. Hambly Rubons (love these!), Prima flowers, Maya Road chipboard swirls, Basic Grey Lily Kate papers......

SEI - more of the two new lines arrived today. Morning Meadow and Citrus Kick. I wasn't too sure about the CK line, but it grows on you. We got some cute albums in a box for this line. Very cute.

Making Memories - Restock of some chipboard shapes, ribbons and some really cute scalloped albums. Love the colors these come in.

Basic Grey - Finally got our order of Phoebe and Scarletts Letter. Oh, and they're new rubons. I already have a plan for some of them!

Photo sharing

So I was going through a bunch of my photos today and getting ready to place an order HERE when I found this gem from a couple of weeks ago.

Rascal at his finest. We had some cold weather here in CA - by cold, I mean in the 50's during the day. Thats cold here SoCal. On some mornings during this cold spell, I couldn't get the dog out of bed. He tends to burrow under the covers at night and well, we just leave him there. He's happy, we're happy (he makes a nice bed warmer by the way).

So one morning, I went in to check on him and I couldn't find him. Sometime after I'd gotten up, he'd burrowed so far under the covers he was hidden. So, after a quick panic and calling out his name - this is what I saw.

One of our Design Team members just had her 2nd baby this week.

For anyone who didn't know, I am also expecting! Due in late July.

And ANOTHER member of the Design Team will be right behind me in August! Congratulations Heidi!

For those of you who were looking for the new Fancy Pants items last night, they are now loaded into the store. It took me a while to scan the images and get them uploaded.

The Gallery is close to being finished. Very excited to get this in place. Several Design Team members have let me know that they have layouts ready to upload so look for those this week.

new CHA stuff is here. I'm busy loading it into the store. Should be uploaded tonight. The new lace ribbons are awesome! I'm trying to find something to use these on.

And I picked up some of their new journaling cards - one side has a flourished quote and the backside can be journaled on. Pretty neat. And they match their papers so this is a plus!

MORE New Arrivals......

Some of the new SEI papers are in. Check out the Morning Meadow and Citrus Kick lines. More items will be arriving later this month and in April as they are released. Some of these cools items are beaded stickers to match the lines. Very cool in person. Can't wait to get these in the store.

What makes me happy? A Kings win. (Sorry for all the Ducks fans out there.) Yep, we won. We beat them. Barely, but we beat them. And we did it without Kopitar.
Mom and I had Chairmans Passes tonight. Didn't bring the camera, but I will next time. Just had to scope it out this time.
So, because the Kings won, I came home all jazzed and ordered more product!
Won't say what yet, but I placed some orders.
