What a busy weekend! The Free Shipping offer is good until midnight, Monday 5/26. So, you still have just over 24 hours to shop!

We ran out of shipping labels (had to run to Staples for more!). We ran out of goodies from Elle's Studio (already placed a reorder!). And of course, we're out of a lot of things in the store. Thats a good thing. We have room for some new product that will arrive over the next 2 weeks and for some of the reorders we've already placed. The MM Tiny Alphas disappear within hours of us getting any in stock. I swear, we place orders for those at least once a week. We have 3 different places we can order them from and all 3 places are SOLD OUT!! We just can't keep them in stock. If you're waiting for those, we will let you know once they are in stock again!

We also promised pictures of the storage area, shipping area etc. Here are a few.

Boxed orders ready to be shipped. We have a daily pickup by the USPS. I love my mailman. He puts up with a lot of orders some days. He'll be busy on Tuesday. Some orders went out Saturday and the rest will go out this week as they are filled.

Paper racks. We have a lot of paper in the 12x12 paper racks, but a lot of them are stored on several of these racks. Each stack is a different manufacturer and line. Yes, we have a lot of these! We also have more that are filled with boxes of product like Prima flowers, chipboard letters etc. There are also plastic tub storage bins filled to the rims with products. Its crazy!

Lil Davis is BACK!

And they had some really cute must haves at the last show. Well, they're finally here. They partnered up with Fiskars since we last heard from them.

We received in some of their new Epoxy letters - so cute and in all of the basic colors (orange, brown, blue etc)
More of their Stripped Chip. Some of these sold so well last time that we brought some back. If you like them, we'll be stocking more.
And some really cool layered chipboard letters. Also in the same colors. This matches their Travel line of papers that will be here soon - but they also match so many other things!

Scenic Route was nice enough to rush us our order of their new Mini Line - Liberty. The colors in the last post just didn't do this line justice. Once again, we were surprised to get a paper line with darker hues. This is a great summer line and of course works with any 4th of July photos you may have!

It seems like there is a suprise on our doorstep almost every day!

UPDATE on Shipping charges

Never a fun topic or announcement - those nasty Postal Rates. I do research this and try to use the cheapest methods available. So here are a few hints and tips for you. Yes, the rates went up, HOWEVER, we still use the cheapest method available. Of course, there is free shipping on all US Orders over $75. If your order does NOT total more than $75, the most you will pay is $8.95, this is for the Flat Rate Priority box. We get a nice discount from the USPS for using their online site to print labels and we pass this discount on to you. We also absorb some of the cost for you. The Flat Rate boxes now cost over $9.00 but we will continue to charge the old rates.International rates are obviously higher, but we can use Flat Rate boxes. There are shipping discounts available. Please contact us for more information.
How Our System Works Because the USPS bases the shipping charges on weight AND zone, the system is unable to accurately calculate the exact amount of shipping. We have set up parameters in the shipping tables to handle this situation the best way possible. When you check out, your shipping charges may appear high. In the case that the charges are less, we will adjust your invoice BEFORE your card is charged. When you place your order, the system confirms with your Credit Card company that the funds are available and you may see a temporary charge. Until you receive an email from the system that your order was processed, your card has NOT been charged. This allows us to make any changes to your bill. (ie: change shipping charges, promotional codes, etc.) We charge you exactly what we pay for shipping. So, for example, if your original invoice states that you are being charged $7.00 to ship your items but it ends up costing us $5.50 to ship, we will adjust your final invoice to reflect this. We ship everything Priority unless otherwise specified. International customers can expect all orders to be shipped Priority. There are no other options other than Express Mail which is higher. How does all of this affect you? We did raise shipping slightly, but you will not notice much of a difference. We know this is difficult for anyone to swallow, but with the rise in gas prices, this was inevitable. As I said before, we are trying to absorb some of the cost for you. Can you imagine my shock when I receive a shipment from the manufacturer and see the shipping costs? Ouch!

Life is never dull

around here anymore. We received more 7 Gypsies items. Some restock, some new. Some old favorites! Check out the LIFE papers under Misc. papers. Kind of a classic paper!

All I can say is..... BIG product updates coming over the next week or so. Very excited. And there is something for everyone. :)

I have to say, all of these fun boxes that arrive almost daily make my heart sing! And I tend to break out in song when I'm happy. Maybe do a little happy dance. Do any of you do a little 'happy dance' when your new stash arrives? :)

Seriously, (I watch to much Greys Anatomy)! No, seriously, I'm excited for YOU! So many awesome things will be arriving soon!

Emeline has designed 2 different sketches for our Challenge. You can find the sketches in the Gallery. Below are 2 examples of Emelines layouts using those sketches.

You will have 3 days to upload your finished layouts to the Gallery using these sketches.

1 Design Team Member Needed!

Submit 5 projects by the deadline (5/15/08).
At least 2 of the projects need to be cards or altered items, the rest can be scrapbook pages, mini albums or more cards.

Send us an email with your projects attached and include the following information:
Full name and country of residence
Links to any current online galleries, resumes and or blog galleries
List of current design teams that you may be on
Short bio of yourself and why you would like to be a part of our team
List of products used in your projects

Please send submissions to us by May 15th. We will choose the new DT Member by May 20th.

Design Team Members will be expected to:
Create at least 2 projects a month using the product sent to them.
Commit to a 6 month term
Submit projects to our online store gallery.
Promote the store by posting your projects on online galleries and blogs.
